Semaglutide Weight Loss

Control cravings and reduce your appetite to achieve significant weight loss with the newest FDA-approved injectable prescription peptide for weight management

What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide (brand names Wegovy and Ozempic) is a glucagon-like peptide (GLP-1) analog. GLP-1 is a hormone produced in the small intestine that stimulates insulin secretion and inhibits glucagon secretion, thereby lowering blood sugar. Studies show that Semaglutide reduces appetite, improves control of eating, and reduces food cravings in addition to improving glycemic control.

What does Semaglutide do?

Semaglutide is a glucagon like GLP-1 receptor agonist. GLP-1 reduces fasting and postprandial blood glucose by stimulating insulin secretion and lowering glucagon secretion. This medication also reduces appetite overtime by mimicking the GLP-1 that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake. Semaglutide slows the stomach emptying to increase the feeling of fullness longer.

What Results Can I Expect?

Semaglutide trial results showed overweight or obese adults receiving weekly Semaglutide had a mean weight loss of 14.9% at 68 weeks. In this same study, nearly 70% of participants were able to achieve a 10% weight loss threshold by taking Semaglutide and 32% of participants lost at least 20% of their initial weight!
